IRS AUTOMATED COLLECTION SYSTEM CASES

IRS DEBT OPTIONS ANALYSIS/EVALUATION - $750.00 (Required and Applied to Solution Fee)

When a taxpayer owes the IRS, a complete review of the taxpayer's IRS history and financials needs to be completed in order to determine the best path the taxpayer should take, both short and long term.   The fee charged for this work is applied to the solution fee assuming the taxpayer moves forward with the case.

IRS OFFER IN COMPROMISE (acs) - $2500.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $1750.00

If an IRS Offer in Compromise based on a "doubt as to ability to pay" makes the most sense after analysis is complete, taxpayer can use it to try and "settle" the IRS debt for less than is owed.

IRS STREAMLINED INSTALLMENT AGREEMENT (acs) - $1250.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $500.00

If the IRS debt is less than $50,000.00 assessed. the taxpayer can ask for a payment plan with the IRS automated collection service that divides the debt up over 72 months or the time remaining on the IRS' statute of limitation period of collection, whichever is less.

IRS STREAMLINED INSTALLMENT AGREEMENT W/ LIEN WITHDRAWAL (acs) - $1500.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $750.00

If the IRS debt is less than $25,000.00 assessed. the taxpayer can ask for a payment plan with the IRS automated collection service that divides the debt up over 72 months or the time remaining on the IRS' statute of limitation period of collection, whichever is less.  If the payment is made via auto-debit as a result of 433-d form submission, the taxpayer can request IRS lien withdrawal after 3 payments are made.

IRS NON-COLLECTIBLE STATUS AGREEMENT (acs) - $1500.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $750.00

If the taxpayer meets certain criteria, an agreement can be set up with IRS automated collections allowing the taxpayer to avoid paying anything monthly for at least 1 year.

IRS NON-STREAMLINED INSTALLMENT AGREEMENT (acs) - $1000.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $250.00

If the IRS debt is between $50,000.00 and $250,000.00 and the case is with IRS automated collections, the taxpayer can arrange a plan that pays the debt within the time period remaining on the IRS' statute of limitations period.

ABILITY TO PAY INSTALLMENT AGREEMENT (acs) - $1500.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $750.00

If it makes the most sense to arrange a payment plan with the IRS that is based on financials and not time, the payment may lower than a time-based installment agreement payment may be and in theory will result in a reduction of the overall tax debt if the ability to pay terms remain place until the 10 year statute of limitations clock ends.

IRS NON-COLLECTIBLE STATUS AGREEMENT (acs) - $1500.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $750.00

CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY (UNPLANNED/TAX MOTIVATED) - $2500.00 - $750.00 ANALYSIS/EVALUATION FEE = $1750.00

Chapter 7 bankruptcy sometimes makes the most sense especially when some sizeable portion of the tax debt may be discharged as an obligation and the taxpayer has difficult non-tax debts that may be discharged as well.
